Kwena took second place, while third place went to Shiralee Siebert for her work, Words. Arthur lives and works in Cape Town.
Her primary media are painting, drawing and printmaking. She is interested in portraiture, identity and representations of the body; predominantly creating work exploring gender and sexuality.
The top-40’s work can be seen at Rust-en-Vrede Gallery, unitil Friday October 27. The gallery is open Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm, and on Saturday, from 9am to 1pm.
